Born on a small Island in the Bahamas, Avaran’s first run in with reggae was at the age of six after Bob Marley had visited the Bahamas on tour. Fast forward to 1996 as Avaran first appears on the Reggae scene cutting a few specials for a Miami sound system out of Bimini, Cancer Hi-Power an upcoming sound, this would be instrumental in helping Avaran in his early career. “No Part of It” the first domestic release did not receive much recognition, so he headed back to the drawing board with a follow-up release “Only Jah”.
