Dora Schwarzberg undertook her musical studies at the Stoliarsky School in Russia and with Yuri Yankelevitch at the Moscow Conservatory. She has played with the most distinguished orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic Orchestra
She was born in the backstage of a Jewish Theatre where her musician parents worked. It is perhaps this fact which formed her artistic Credo, expressed in the words of her father: “the violin must speak and cry!”.
