This is not a mistagged artist. Though "Gioacchino" is the familiar spelling of the name, Rossini himself more usually adopted the spelling "Gioachino". This is now the accepted spelling of his first name - please see wikipedia for source. Gioachino Antonio Rossini (February 29, 1792 – November 13, 1868) was a composer of 39 operas as well as sacred music, chamber music, songs, and some instrumental and piano pieces. He was born in Pesaro, Italy.
