Namur is David Ahlén, a Swedish fellow with a taste for reverb, distortion and sweetly sung lyrics. Taking note of the obvious influences here (My Bloody Valentine, Ulrich Schnauss, M83, Slowdive), the albums also pillages a large amount of its sound from the guitar noise-pop of Khonnor or even Fennesz – and its a strategy that works wonders.
