Nechochwen uses various instruments to create music about Native American history and prehistory. Based in West Virginia, most of the music is about events in the Ohio River Valley. Nechochwen now consists of two members and is signed to Bindrune Recordings. The debut album, Algonkian Mythos, was released on Dark Horizon Records in 2008 and focused on the Fur Trade Era of the eastern U.S.
