Rafaél Cortes was born on 21st December 1973, exactly 27 years after the greatest flamenco guitarist of all times - don Paco de Lucía. And maybe because of this fact he´s today one of the best flamenco guitarists. His technical abilities are very impressive, which could be easily observed on his live performances, usually with his own group consisted of (between others) David Huertas (cajón, percussion, palmas) and José de Lucía (bass guitar).
