July 2001: Lara Martelli went on stage to an awestruck audience in Athens, Georgia - USA. There was an almost religious silence in the small underground club. Lara stood there musically naked with nothing more than an acoustic guitar to dress her song. Stunning Someone asked: “Where in the Hell is She From ???”
In 2001 the young singer-songwriter brought her band from Rome, Italy to record her album “Orchidea Porpora”, an album that quickly gained vast attention from both press and audience. The album was recorded entirely at Atlanta's 'temple of rock music,' Southern Tracks.
