There is more than one band with this name: 1) Dark Arts are a four piece post-punk band from Australia, raised by a pack of wolves in the slums of Ballarat. Members are Gabriel Strachan (keyboards, vocals), Samuel Sedgwick (drums, percussion), Oliver Nicholls (guitar, percussion), David Kent (bass guitar). 2) Dark Arts is a darkwave act founded by Stephanie Payne in 1984. The first recording was produced and engineered by Steve Albini (best known for his bands Big Black and Shellac, as well as his production work with the Pixies and PJ Harvey).
