Her Blackened Rose was set up in early 2007 as a progression from Clare Webster's earlier project known as 'Rain Child'. Her Blackened Rose was progression, a step forward, in many things including; style, recording quaility, vocal techniques and improvements in songwriting and composition. A very dark, macabre and almost horroresque type of soundscape began to emerge in the following months of 2007 as writing for 'Intropection' began to take place.
