They became one of the most popular "jerk crews" on video sharing sites that year, tallying up over a million views of their uploads and inspiring teens from coast to coast to try their hand at "jerkin'," a frantic style of hip-hop dancing inspired by the "krumping" craze of 2008, plus the '80s breakdancing movement.
