There is more than one artist with this name. 1. Moody French Jazz Musicians, who released their most recent album in 2005. 2. British Indie Rock band formed in 2008. Martell are a brand new band from somewhere between Stevenage, Hitchin and Melbourn (not that one). Influences come mainly from The Cribs, We Are Scientists and Hope of the States, but the sound they make is nothing like any of these. Now gigging extensively, Martell are looking to put out a 2nd EP in the first half of 2009.
