Depressed Mode is a death doom metal band which started as a one-man-project by Ossy Salonen in Pori, Finland. After 3 months Tomppa Turpeinen joined the band as guitar player. After 6 months, Natalie Koskinen, known for her contributions for the previous Shape of Despair albums, joined the band. After 11 months when Depressed Mode was a trio, Jamppa Lamminpää joined the band and took over the bass-line. This all started in 2005.
