PLASTIC GIRL IN CLOSET is a shoegaze band from the Iwate Prefecture, Japan. In 2003, Yuji Takahashi (vocals, guitar) formed the band and Ayako Sugai (bass, chorus) joined the next year. Yuta Ogawa joined in 2006 and in 2007 they changed their previous (unknown) name to "plastic girl in closet". They participated on a V.A. album in 2008 and got signed to Only Feedback Record/Columbia Music Eetertainment. They had a tour in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. In 2009, Yuta Ogawa left the band. Their debut album was released in 2010.
