Cindy Blackman has played drums with Lenny Kravitz since 1993. In addition, she has recorded 9 albums with her own bands. She composed most of the music for her album, "Music For The New Millennium". She has played with jazz greats such as George Benson and played on Joss Stone's first two award-winning albums.
