BD1982, born Brian Durr in 1982, draws on a constantly evolving palette of influences, ranging from Jamaican dancehall and UK grime on to 12-bit hip hop productions and Italo-horror soundtracks. BD1982 co-runs Diskotopia with Matt Lyne, who records under the moniker A Taut Line and is also a member of the Seclusiasis crew with Starkey and Dev79. BD1982 has previously remixed or collaborated with artists such as Starkey, Dev79, Kotchy, 77Klash, Kaiser, 100mado, Mochipet, Planet Soap, Smokey & Casper, Xlii and Matt B.
