Clare Bowditch and the New Slang were an Australian pop-folk band, consisting of Melbourne, Victoria-based singer-songwriter Clare Bowditch and her backing band. Clare Bowditch and The Feeding Set. Some members of the Feeding Set remained - drummer Marty Brown, also Clare's husband; and bassist Warren Bloomer - but the expanded group also featured Tim Harvey (Hot Little Hands) on lead guitar and the a capella group Aluka, known collecitvely within the New Slang as The Lady Garden. The band recorded one album together, Modern Day Addiction (2010).
