Moradin formed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 2006. Featured on the 'A Tribute to Quorthon' compilation by Valhalla Promotions, covering the song 'Blood Fire Death'. Moradin stated on their official Myspace they are not a political band. Moradin is the name of the dwarven god in the "Dungeons & Dragons" game.
