John MacLean is a Baltimore born and raised singer-songwriter who now lives in the Boston area. He has enjoyed increasing success as a songwriter and performer over the last ten years, culminating in honorable mention for his song "Liar's War (Letter Home) at the 2005 Boston Folk Festival Singer Songwriter Contest and the recent release of his CD "Letters Home." He currently performs at various venues in the Boston area and is working on a new CD.
