Andreas Bertilsson has under his former alias, Son of Clay, released three albums through which he developed the musical form that fully emerges in this piece. Paramount is to be understood as a tripartite piece where the music moves across three stages and suggests a more comprehensive underlying story. The sound material fluctuates from digital adaptations, field recordings and arranged situations, via spoken voice, improvised percussions and acoustic bass in a work that is concluded in a massive wall of sound that marks the ending of the piece.
