He was introduced to the guitar by his father at the age of fourteen (according to his web site), but he has been playing the piano since early chilfdhood; however, he only got to stage and studios in the 'nineties. Influenced by artists like Koos du Plessis (South African philosopher-singer), Leonard Cohen, Cat Stevens.
