Laconist was formed in Hortolândia, Brazil, in November 2007 by Neil (ex-Queiron, hellborn333 on Last.FM) and Alcoholic Death (Unmemory, Remords Posthume - Alcoholic_Death on Last.FM) with the intent to create a profane and no-frills death metal, on the likes of Anasarca, Lost Soul, Benediction, and Morbid Angel.
