Hughie Gavin is a singer-songwriter born and bread in South London. His music has an etheral Buckley-inspired tone. His tracks are lavished with vocal harmonies and rich textures. He plays both the guitar and the piano. He was the lead singer of a band called Wise Man Said, which arrived on the scene in the summer of 2007. They later split in 2009. Hughie is involved in the Communion nu folk scene in London.
