There are at least 2 artists named Soulstarr: 1) An Experimental Hip Hop producer from Chicago. 2) Formed in early 2003, SOULSTARR quickly established themselves on the Edinburgh music scene; highlights were support slots with The Zutons Ordinary Boys and the Kaiser Chiefs as well as featuring on the Music Works Showcase in 2005. The band signed to youthful indie label Broken Clothing Records in 2004 and released their EP ‘Birth of Song: Failed Attempts at Rock Monstrosity’ which received airplay on Jim Gellantly’s 'Beatbreakers' and reasonable press coverage.
