Brazilian musician, plays mostly viola brasileira. (an instrument not related to the classic viola but more closely related to the acoustic guitar) He is considered one of the people that is pushing a more modern usage of the viola, instead of only playing traditional Brazilian country music (caipira), he is devoloping a new genre of jazz.
